90uA operating current, that´s ~40Wh per year @5V.. why not something like that MAX6129 it only need 5.25uA , so only ~2,3Wh / year

Good idea - except do they may a 4.5V version of the MAX6129? https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/data-sheets/MAX6129.pdf
