Check whether XRECORD is enabled and do... something... if it isn't

No guarantee that the XRECORD extension is actually enabled. Check, so we don't die with an error, and if not then... exit? put up an error message? use XSelectInput? not sure. Deciding what to do is also part of this bug. :-)
