I can infer the issue I'm having is similar to "pre-existing color", but I want to confirm. I have cases where I receive an Excel document with cells containing partially bolded text. In most other cases, clearing formatting (or re-applying the style) addresses the issue for the content. However, bolding (or italicizing/underlining) is not cleared. Yet these also interfere with switching between dark/light. They stay in the color they were used in.
It seems like the known issue situation. Is this a correct analysis?
Having similar issue with partially superscripted/subscripted text. The non-formatted part of the text toggles correctly, the partial super/subscripted part of the cell text does not toggle.
Wonder if something could be done with the "automatic" color formatting?
