Missing SixLabors.Core reference

Open zhengfu1229 opened this issue 5 years ago • 6 comments

Hi Ststeiger,

The latest 1.1.29 version failed on this line:

"XImage img = XImage.FromFile(path)"

Exception is about the missing SixLabors.Core reference

Revert to 1.1.26 works fine.

Hi @zhengfu1229, thank you for reporting, I have unlisted that version, would be fixed

This can actually be resolved by adding the SixLabors.Core nugget package directly to your project.

I'm adding this dependency here so it can be implicitly referenced

merged.

SixLabors.Core is obsolete. I recommend updating all packages to their latest released versions.

@JimBobSquarePants: Damn, I kindof like ImageSharp, and I know it's beta at best ... but you break compatiblity way too often. Anyway, i think I'll just have to take a personal look at PdfSharpCore again, since the Font-Loader is broken yet again anyway, since I merged a few things.

ImageSharp hasn't been a beta for a very long time. It's currently on 1.0.3. Only the ImageSharp.Drawing and Fonts are still in beta stage.

They will continue to be so indefinitely due to a lack of community contribution.
