And what will other programs do? That want to set 1024x768 or alike. Maybe if dosemu2 if to be written for 1 particular prog, that could be an option.
The hack usually solves some problem. When there is no problem to solve, then I'd call it differently. :)

Why would you need this? Please name the exact problem, not the solution. It might be quite a rigorous test for the guest OS to get something like 1000 resize...
Yes, the background problem is easy to reproduce. Would be nice to have a bisect (of course I can do that too when time permits).

Absolutely. You need to go to `c:\windows` and from there type `system\krnl386.exe`
