Stats are not displayed in current official elementaryOS release

What Happened?

I installed the latest version of monitor from the Github repo (built with wingpanel support) Opened monitor and activated Show in panel in the options but nothing appeared

Expected Behavior

Stats should be displayed in the wingpanel

8.x (Circe)

Session Type

Classic Session (X11, This is the default)

Latest release (I have run all updates)
