How to login to apim and run APIC CLI commands in apim docker image?

Looking for some help , How can i login to apim docker image and run APIC CLI commands like (system show status etc..) . I am successful login to apiportal docker image as root. But apim docker image unable to do either admin or root . tried to login as ssh from docker boot2loader (ssh admin@) getting error like connection refused to port 22. appreciate quick help on this..
