Feature Request: Account expiration
Hi Mark.
StrongBox/KeePass has Expired field which is set manually. I think it makes sense to update this field automatically after each password use due to current changes in mail services:
- When your Google Account has not been used within a 2-year period, your Google Account, that is then deemed inactive, and all of its content and data may be deleted.
- Yahoo may delete inactive accounts that haven't logged in for 12 months.
- After 360 days (five days short of a typical year) of inactivity, a Windows Live Hotmail account is permanently deleted. If you don't use your Windows Live ID (which is your Windows Live Hotmail email address) for 365 days (about a year), it, too, can be permanently deleted.
- According to the platform's inactive account policy, free-base ProtonMail users who do not log in to any Proton service for a year will have their account deactivated, the data associated with the account will be removed, and the username will be blocked to prevent further use.
- Free of charge Tutanota accounts are deleted after an inactive period of six months.
Has a place to make a time period field, which is set from the date of last use, to update the Expired field.
- Google: Last used + 720 days
- Yahoo: Last used + 360 days
- Hotmail: Last used + 360 days
- ProtonMail: Last used + 360 days
- Tutanota: Last used + 180 days etc.
👍 There seems to be a field „Accessed“ in the meta data, which could be used to calculate this
