Feature Request: PIN scrambling
The pin together with FaceID or another biometric factor is very secure, however, I always have the feeling in public that a short pin simply does not protect enough. Some people call the attack visual hacking, but I prefer not to use a sensational name but to call it what it is, you can simply watch someone entering the pattern of the pin, even from relatively far away. Whether the screen is on the darkest setting, or even a privacy film is applied does not matter.
To solve such problems there should be a feature, which is now available on many smartphones to protect the login: PIN scrambling. The individual digits are simply swapped so that no one who cannot look directly at the screen can find out the PIN based on the pattern alone. The feature should be activated by default for protection, but people with impaired vision often still need the "normal" input variant.
Hi, that's a nice idea, will add to the backlog. I can't see it being the default behaviour, but definitely something you could configure. Thanks!
