Apple Watch App
Here is a little demo from Enpass :
It shows the service , the digits of the codes and a countdown .

The main menu looks so :

Thanks I do like the idea, but it'll be down the roadmap a bit
Great 👌
@mmcguill can you say something about the actual roadmap status for the watch app ? 😉
I'm afraid the only thing I can say is it's at least 3 months before I can even look into it...
Is it just for TOTP codes?
in my usecase yes . This is the only reason why I have Enpass installed parallel to Strongbox at the moment 😊

Dropping in to say this would be a really appealing feature. OTP codes on your wrist would be a fantastic option.
It might be possible to do something about the OTP codes, for example export them to a Watch App from your database. This seems like an easier task than doing a full unlock on the Watch.
I have not built a Watch app before, and I wonder about the hardware capabilities, of doing something like a full decrypt of a database on the watch itself. This might be problematic.
However, exporting the seed/parameters for TOTP codes in some secure fashion, and displaying them on the watch seems like an easier task...
That said, this still needs to be researched, and I don't have a good estimate for when I can get around to that. It's still a niche/nice to have feature.

Hi,
Is there any news about an apple watch app? for OTP, would be great, also for passwords to some extent (to be defined)
Apple watch is definitely a companion to the iPhone, so, I don't think the app would need to be full-featured, just to communicate with the iOS app...
No news on this I'm afraid, it's still a little out on our roadmap.
Ah ok, thanks for answer. That would be lovely anyway. I am a former 1password vet and this is one of the 3 features that would make strongbox covering 100% of the former's featureset (+ the extras strongbox offers of course). I'll keep following...
