You might use fpm for quick packaging. It allows to pack your egg and dependencies like this:

fpm -s python -t deb netutils-linux
fpm -s python -t deb colorama
...

Thanks for suggesting fpm :) I've stucked with EPEL & fpm now, hope launchpad has no such strict rules on uploading debs.
