Add ability to end external testing
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. After an external test period has ended, i'd like to be able to end an external test. Without this ability merchants may continue using the external test version indefinitely. We would like to remove any infrastructure that was supporting the test version, however doing so will cause errors for the merchants continuing to use the test version.
For invite only external tests, this is less of an issue as the scope is contained. For tests installed using the link, identifying the merchants in order to contact them is not available.
Describe the solution you'd like When ending an external test, the test app is uninstalled from merchant accounts.
Describe alternatives you've considered Not aware of any at the moment, aside from supporting the test version indefinitely.
Hi @efouts! While we don't currently support ending an external test, a suggested workaround would be to upload a new version of your app that disables app functionality and select that version for your testers. Merchants who have the app installed will get the updated version and can choose to then uninstall the app.
