"+" >. "Image" > "From Disk"

I just tried this and it worked as expected. Are these images from a special directory? Maybe a cloud drive? Can you try adding an image in a new note?

I am having this problem too. I have not been able to get any images to work as yet. I first tried importing MD files, then HTML but none of the images were imported. The MD files work when viewed in other markdown apps (i.e. the images are properly linked).

I then tried manually importing images from disk (both to an existing note and a new note) but still just get a "Failed to Construct URL" error .

I get the same error regardless of where I upload from. I have even given Notesnook 'full disk access' in Mac privacy settings ...

@bluefuzz how exactly are you trying to insert images? Can you tell me the exact steps?

Well, the bulk of the notes are imported via the Notesnook importer. The text of the notes seems to have been imported fine but almost all images are missing. On a few notes I am seeing image placeholders with the text 'Skip downloading (unsafe)' If I click on this the image appears but if I leave the note and come back again the images are gone again!

When trying to manually improt I am using "+" >. "Image" > "From Disk". This never works.

@jordanhandy can you tell me the full filename of the images you are trying to attach?

@bluefuzz

come back again the images are gone again!

Yes, this is intentional. Skip downloading (unsafe) is a temporary action. You have to manually request everytime. This is done for security reasons.

So I how do I make the images permanent? And as noted above, most of the images are simply missing and I am unable to attach or upload them ...

@jordanhandy we changed our attachments storage provider so this should be fixed. Can you test?
