Tags missing after latest update

My tags have disappeared from the "Tags" view in the sidebar. All of my notes still appear to have tags, but under the "Tags" menu, I only see 3 tags total (of 15 I have), and it says only 2 notes are tagged. I check some really old notes, and they are all still tagged, they just don't appear in the Tags menu.

Tried a full sync, but that didn't fix the issue

For example, let's say I have a tag #technical. I have 30 notes tagged with that tag. Each of these notes shows the tag in the header. But, if I go to the "Tags" menu in the sidebar, it will only show 1 note tagged with #technical, that note being one I created within the timeframe of the recent updates. None that predate v2.0.

You also have a situation where a tag tries to appear, but only shows as a # mark

I am investigating this issue. I fixed this in v2.1.2 but it seems it's still appearing. Can you restart the app and see if that works? Also, try this on the web app. It could be that the desktop version is using an outdated version of the shared core (where this bug was fixed).

All my tags appear as normal on the web app

The issue appears to only affect desktop and my Android mobile device. Force closing those apps as well as trying a force sync did not fix the issue

Just want to add I've updated to Desktop (Linux) 2.2.2 and Android 2.2.4 and my tags are still missing on both platforms. I see the tags when I open the notes though

@den7007 can you try running a force sync? If that doesn't work, try logging in on the web app and see if the tags appear or not.

Just tried force sync on both devices but no go. Tags are not showing in the web app too

hey there, this issue was resolved for me - I created a new tag and then the others showed up
