I use keyboard-only a lot; out of habit, for speed, and for when occasionally using a screen reader. Find myself trying to do these things a lot and not sure if maybe there's a special keyboard combo I don't know about yet.

Task List example

  1. Create a task list (cmd+shift+T)
  2. Attempt to get into the little "Untitled" area that doubles as the progress bar for the task list, and holds other controls (e.g., sort, mode, etc.). (I tried with tab+shift out of instinct/habit, but that deleted the task list.)

Outline example

  1. Create an outline (cmd+shift+O).
  2. Type something in the first text item.
  3. Create a nested item (enter, then tab)
  4. Attempt to reach the "v" down caret to toggle the showing and hiding of nested element(s). (My instinct was shift+tab to reach the caret, spacebar to toggle it, but the former (shift+tab) un-nested the previously-nested text item--which, fair enough, that is what the behavior is for bullet points; the behavior for this would have to be more creative. Not sure if there are best practices or standards for that specifically.)
