Android: take "photo note" directly

Open streetwriters[bot] opened this issue 2 years ago • 2 comments

When I press the Notesnook icon on Android I see two "bubbles" with menu items:

  1. share/info/trash
    • create a new note

Could you please add

  1. photo note that will directly open the camera, take a photo and then open a new note with the photo already attached? I think most of the code should exist as I can take a photo from within the app.

As a visual note taker I would highly appreciate this quick approach.

What's wrong with taking a photo with your favorite camera app and then sharing it to Notesnook?

Hi!

It would save several "clicks" touches on very small areas (at least on my smartphone with the standard gallery"

Now:

  • Open camera app
  • take photo
  • press little gallery circle next to the camera main button (only 8mm diameter)
  • press the picture itself
  • press the little "send to" icon (6mm diameter)
  • press Notesnook icon

vs

Then:

  • tap-hold notesnook icon and slide to
  • press BIG button "photo"

This is a big difference both in number of steps, but also related to the precisision required while moving / walking whatever. I hope you get the idea.

Thank you very much for caring
