Import from Evernote Legacy Error: Failed to get user encryption key. Cannot cache attachments

Used the Notesnook importer at https://importer.notesnook.com/ to try test importing a notebook from Evernote Legacy 5.8- everything that is not images seem to come in pretty good (at first glance anyways) but none of the images managed to be imported. Instead the importer listed this error several hundred times:

Failed to get user encryption key. Cannot cache attachments

I'm unsure what this is referring to exactly. I don't have anything encrypted in the specific Notebook I'm testing with, and the .enex file certainly isn't password protected.

Edit: This is a separate issue... but upon further inspection the notebook's imported text in the notes itself has some... issues. Tabs appear to have all be converted to the string ' ', so I have a ton of notes now with '    '
