My coworker and were able to enable it by
commenting out: div ng-hide="addManually" in grails-app/assets/javascripts/streama/templates/modal--movie.tpl.htm

Ehm... I'm not sure I understand your request for a PR... AFAICU this thread, the change has been pushed by you on 5. March 2021 to branch v1.11, so 2.5 yrs or so ago. Isn't it more appropriate to cherry-pick? Or even release v1.11?
