I just think they need to get off the "cross platform" base known as Electron. They tout security, yet they use the most bloated method possible to provide "cross platform"...

This PR is essential to make Linux VMs work in FreeBSD 13.2-RELEASE-p3 with edk2-bhyve-g202308. Without this, my Linux VMs would fail to finish booting entirely.

I decided to pay for play:Sub to see if it worked there, it's better but still doesn't work. I can see everything EXCEPT songs, but now playing works. Amperfy shows...

playerctl doesn't seem to work. It doesn't appear to be an mpris player. Those kill signals look to be Linux only too.

I don't run Windows either. It would be nice to have a broadly generic option built into the player itself vs rely on various third party tooling. But I appreciate...
