Since we use pnpm to host our Strapi with MySQL, and we face an error on loading the mysql2 package

Thanks for the suggestion, @soheilnikroo.

I'm also wondering about yarn, would it work too?

As you can see, we actually don't provide pnpm instructions in the docs, though this is something we are considering. FYI we've been holding off from recommending pnpm since it's not fully compatible with Strapi Cloud yet, but it's a WIP.
