Hi, I'm Pierre, Lead Technical Writer at Strapi.
We noticed users have reported several errors for the Testing page. I will group these issues here on a single "meta" page. We don't have the bandwidth to rework the testing page for now as we are heavily focused on documenting v5 and the upcoming v4 features. But rest assured that reworking the testing documentation is on our roadmap. It's currently planned for after the v5 release.

August 2024 update:
The Strapi Documentation team acknowledges that the current docs.strapi.io website around testing is lacking, but technical writers and core Strapi engineers cannot unfortunately focus on this topic before the release of the stable version of Strapi 5.
In the meantime, we'll advise you to visit the following blog post: https://strapi.io/blog/automated-testing-for-strapi-api-with-jest-and-supertest that hopefully should help you get started with testing and Strapi v4. Feel free to keep the feedback coming, and if this guide needs to be updated for Strapi 5, we'll take some more actions.
