[SUBMIT] How to create a Multiplatform native app using Strapi and Flutter in less than an hour
My resource
How to create a Multiplatform native app using Strapi and Flutter in less than an hour. Contains a brief introduction of using Strapi and connecting it to Flutter. My format
What do you all think? ❤️ I love it! 🚀 I can help you!
Hey @Pablo-Aldana This is a really good article. Would you be interesting in writing a couple Flutter related articles for the Strapi blog?
Also, you need to follow this to submit articles to tutorials.
Hey @Pablo-Aldana are you still interested in writing this article?
Hello @ShadaW11, I’d love to write on this, but with React Native instead of flutter. I don’t know if that’s acceptable?
React Native is a widely used multiplatform native app development framework.
I’m interested in writing about this.
Hello @Code-Kat could you please submit an outline for it?
@MelvinManni we prefer to have an article with Flutter
@ShadaW11, here is the outline I'm thinking of following:
- Introduction
- Prerequisites
- Installing and Setting up Flutter
- Setting up Strapi
- Creating a Flutter App
- Integrating Strapi Data
- Suggestions to take things further
- Conclusion
Please let me know if I should add and/or change anything.
@Code-Kat Thank you for submitting the outline, would you mind expanding more on what the flutter app will do? Meaning could you decide on the app functionality?
@ShadaW11 I was thinking it could be a simple app that shows tourist destinations around a city. The main screen will show a list of clickable destinations that will take the user to a new screen with a short description of that specific destination. Of course, all the destination data will be coming from Strapi.
Hi @ShadaW11 @malgamves happy to write the Flutter articles, please email me to agree on details
hello @Pablo-Aldana please check the open issues or submit new issues and include the suggested outline for flutter articles. You will also have to register your author details here https://strapi.io/write-for-the-community
Hello @Code-Kat Sounds good. Please make sure that you 1- Register your author details by filling the form here https://strapi.io/write-for-the-community 2- Go over the FAQ section for writing guidelines, submission and getting paid. 3- Please note that you will be compensated once the article is published. More details in the FAQ. However, we will be releasing the V4 in one month. We expect that the tutorial will include outdated screenshots and code. We currently only approve new articles if its authors commit to updating their articles after the V4 release (the article update is not paid). If you do not wish to do so, feel free to wait until the official release of the V4 (end of October) If you dont mind updating your article, kindly commit to that and we can go ahead and approve your article. Thanks.
@ShadaW11 I've already registered my author details and gone over the FAQ, but I'll review the guidelines just to be safe. I don't mind updating my article after the release of V4, but thank you for the heads-up.
@Code-Kat cool. Happy to hear and looking forward to reading your article.
awesome @Code-Kat ping me if you have any questions
@ShadaW11 Sorry work has been pretty busy. I guess I might just end up using V4 from the start. Sorry about the delay!
Hey @Code-Kat to be honest, I really like your article pitch. Id love to have the article ready before the V4 if possible and you do not have to worry about updating it for now. If you are free of course to work on it.
I'll do my best to have it ready by the end of the month.
Awesome, looking forward to reading your article @Code-Kat
@ShadaW11 I feel bad about this, but you should probably set this to "looking for author" again. Work has been really hectic and I don't want to keep you waiting forever.... I'm really sorry.
Hey @Code-Kat no worries, take your time, I would love to have you write this and contribute to our community content. Do you think having it ready in one month is possible?
@ShadaW11 Thanks for understanding. I think that by the end of the year would be more realistic.
@Code-Kat no worries, I will keep this topic open and in case no other writer tackles the topic, you could work on it in the future. But in all cases, it would be awesome to have you writing an article for us when you have some free time.
@ShadaW11 Thanks so much for understanding!
Hello, @ShadaW11 @Code-Kat is this topic available? The label says in progress but from the thread, it seems it's open. I am interested in writing about this.
Hello @Mastersam07 yes it is definitely open, interested in this article?
Yes, i am interested @ShadaW11

I know it has been a while @Mastersam07, but I just wanted to follow up with everyone here to see if anyone is still interested in writing this article. If not, we will be closing this issue due to inactivity.
Hi @PaulBratslavsky I'm still interested in writing this. Didn't get any feedback the last time so I wasn't sure how to proceed.
@PaulBratslavsky, could you pls check this?
@Mastersam07 sorry for the delay, I am taking over some of Shada's duties and been playing catch up. Can you provide an outline for the article that you would like to write.
