Reporting related feature requests
Scope: One of the things that’s seriously lacking in PMPro is meaningful reporting or membership stats. FWIW, I’d like to share some functional suggestions, for UI/UX you can look at either Woo Javascript-based reporting or Stripe user interface.
Description: Functional areas, should be sortable by date (day/month/year/all, custom range)
- Total active members, i.e. members that are not in Trial periods, but where payment is already captured (Last known Order Status = Success AND Order Total > 0)
- Trial to Paid ratio (or %), just about every online business has some sort of trial with the ultimate goal that it would convert prospects to paid customers.
- Active members breakdown across all membership plans (e.g. Plan-A: 80%, Plan-B: 10, Plan-C:10% AND Plan-A: $800, Plan-B: $100, Plan-C:$100). You can enhance your existing bart chart with different colors, one for each membership plan, to show that.
- Membership (or subscription) renewal and cancellation rates (how many subscribers are actually renewing vs. cancelling)
- Visits/Logins/Views stats are not meaningful on their own, so you either want to break them down to actionable metrics e.g. top products, top membership plans, cart dropouts etc. or leave them to Google Analytics.
