[Bug] Line inconsistencies between single and dual dialogue
Issue 1
Parenthetical lines in dual dialogue ("split paragraph) are shorter than in single dialogue, which causes a parenthetical line that would not wrap around in single dialogue to wrap around in dual dialogue.
Also, in dual dialogue, the parenthetical's starting position is further right relative to the character name, compared to single dialogue.
Is this behavior based on/following screenplay standards? Are dual dialogue parentheticals supposed to be shorter in dual dialogue?
Issue 2
Another issue is: extra blank lines are added in-between the character, parenthetical and dialogue lines when we use the "Split Paragraph" (Ctrl + D) option.
Before/After
Single Dialogue (Before):
Dual Dialogue (After):
Cutting (Ctrl + X) the parenthetical and pressing backspace/back delete does not delete the parenthesis (and just moves the text cursor to the character name of the second dialogue block):
After cutting (Ctrl + X) a parenthetical, pressing Enter at the end of the character name and pasting (Ctrl + V) works to get rid of the extra blank line before the parenthetical but the empty parenthesis remain there:
The blank lines and blank parentheticals can only be mitigated if I 1) Cut the parenthetical and paste it as a new line after the character name. And then; 2) Cut the dialogue and paste it as a new line after the parenthetical:
Did you split page three times here? Basically, you should split page just one time and write all dialogue content inside single block, this way I'll avoid blank spaces between lines.
What about width of blocks, as I remember, we try to adapt it from other software. But we can recheck it, of course.
I pressed Ctrl +D on an existing single block of character/parenthetical/dialogue, but it seems I pressed on the character name, then parenthetical, then dialogue. Pressing in one does not split all elements in one go, only the line the cursor is on.
The whole block of dialogue should be split, not just the line the cursor is on, then.

Yes, this is a good idea!
