my ngrok.yaml file is in different location

/home/username/.ngrok2/ngrok.yml but on your github guide it says .ngrok2/ngrok.yml does it matter?

after setup the config i get this ERROR: Error reading configuration file '/home/username/.ngrok2/ngrok.yml': config contains tab characters, YAML must use spaces for indentation

I'm not the creator but had the same issue as you. Delete the "tab spaces" from your copy-paste and replace it with actual spaces from your spacebar.
