It would be really cool to have a little section about hosting your sphinx generated site hosted through gh_pages!

That's a good idea, thanks. At some point I'm hoping to do a "2014 Update" (maybe 2015 at this rate) with additions for py3k forward compatibility, Sphinx/RTD, and tox/py.test.

I seem to recall from previous discussions that this guide wanted to focus on build, packaging, distribution and deployment only, not go into topics like testing or documentation.
