Click on notification doesn't open app on respective chat

When I get a message notification and click on it... Expected: Open app and see the message Current: Open app, click the chat that has a new message and see the message

Do you know what the behaviour of web.whatsapp.com in a browser is with regards to this?

If it acts as expected, I will fix ChitChat to work the same. If not, I think it would require a fair amount of messing with the page's content to make this kind of this work.

It's been a while since I'm using ChitChat, but I think it does work as expected

Clicking on web notifications from web.whatsapp.com brings the user to the corresponding chat. Tested with Safari 9.0.
