I use Eclipse Oxygen 3a with SCT 3.4.3 as plugin.

Unfortunately not. I assume it occur more often when model validation errors appear while editing, e.g. the properties of a transition.

Feature request: Draw expressions vertically on vertically orientated transitions

In your case there is enough place to store every text horizontally. I agree that horizontal positioning is more readable anyway. But I have a statechart with lots of vertical...
