My apologies for raising my query as an issue. Could you please confirm when the next release is scheduled? The last release was in March. I'm particularly interested in the StringBuilderWriter fix aimed at improving performance. Passing StringBuilderWriter from the outside does not achieve the intended effect, as a new StringWriter is still being created internally in some places.

@anshchauhan No worries, the usual cadence for releases is every 6 months, but this time the strict mode feature needs to be resolved first. I will get to it as soon as I can.

When will the new release be on Maven Central?

@javadev Should be soon, it's in progress. Sonatype recently added a user token requirement for publishing releases, it took me a few days to get it working.

I have reviewed the artifacts at https://repo1.maven.org/maven2/org/json/json/20241224/ and everything appears to be in order. The issue may now be closed.
