Android App - Not usable with a normal android tv / fire tv remote control

I tried installing the app on 2 FireTV devices. One big problem is that the settings screen cannot be selected by the remote. You have to use a mouse to go to the top left and select the settings. Same deal for the play button. In other apps, you can usually reach the other buttons but clicking left or up several times until you reach the correct element.

+1 Android TV support should be enabled.

Already using snapclient android app on Android TV without any issues. Wanted to try broadcast feature which was released recently on my Android TV and got stuck with this issue after installing snap.net app on Android TV.

+1 Android TV support would be amazing I would love it if this was possible to use on Android TV. Same issue in not being able to select menu with a remote.
