Can this work with Lazarus also?

In theory yes. I haven't worked much with Lazarus, and also for non-Windows, so I'm not sure what would have to change. Since the Delphi Community Edition includes the compiler, I haven't really needed to try with Lazarus/FPC. I was currently working on an 'alternative' version that is non-COM-based, to compare performance, and because (in theory) that would be better to have libraries cooperate from different sources (Delphi, Lazarus, anything non-Pascal like C, Rust...) but it'll take some time...
