Looking for maintainers for the package
I just updated the README with the following announcement:
Hello all, I don’t use this package in my own projects any longer and I have come to the realization that I basically don’t have the bandwidth to maintain the package.
However, the package is used quite a bit and I don’t want to just abandon it. So I’m looking for suggestions on how to move forward with someone else in charge of maintaining the package on a day-to-day basis. I’m open to adding collaborators to this repo or moving the entire repo to a more fitting home.
Please contact me directly or post a comment on the issue I created about this.
This is that issue. Please let me know if you have any thoughts/suggestions.
Hi @stiang, I would be happy to help as the package maintainer
Thanks for offering, @aprendendofelipe! I will keep this issue open for a while and see if more people are interested, and get back to you within a week or two (feel free to ping me if you haven’t heard back by then).
Happy to help as well!
Hello @stiang
Still looking for maintainers! 👀 I'll be happy to help. 😃 I have just pushed two PRs fixing two open issues please check'em out.
Would love for someone to be able to take over this package, so bugs can be fixed.
@stiang I'd be interested in taking over this repo. Plugin builder at grafana labs here. Just started using this under the hood for a VS code extension and I'd love to see it get some more development cycles 👍
@zuchka Thanks, I’ve added you as a collaborator for now - it would be great if you could look into some of the outstanding issues and PRs and/or other improvements. If this works out, we can also consider moving the repo to a new home.
@stiang I saw and thank you! I'll start triaging some of the issues this week. Will look at the PRs too. more soon!
@stiang tested some of these PRs and they looked solid so I merged. Another added Node 18 to the GH action, which I was going to do anyway. Also closed a number of issues related to those PRs. Updating the test file and the Readme rn 👍
