Describe the bug Pressing the shortcut empties the query field

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Set the first field as the query field
2. Type the word you try to look up
3. Press the shortcut
4. The content in the query field will be deleted, and a window pops out that reads 'the query field is empty'

Expected behavior Not deleting the query-field content
