Getting repeat Can't Connect to device error

Hi, I am getting endless errors that Homebridge cannot connect. Furthermore the toggle in the Home app doesn't actually turn the Denon receiver on. I know I have the right IP address as the Marantz volume control plugin works fine.

I'm not sure about everyone else but according to the owner of the plugin (https://www.npmjs.com/package/homebridge-marantz-denon-telnet).

The AVR's that support HEOS dropped the web based controls. This plugin appears to be designed to work with those controls.

For what's it worth I attempted to install that plug in, and it broke my homebridge config, as the setup for that plugin is "zeroconf" I checked the logs and basically any device that had port 23 open was attempting to be registered : \ Denon Heos did show up though.
