why can't i use a video as virtual background

Hi Steve

I'm using vdo ninja many times to record or for a live session. Recently my client needs to put a video as his virtual background. How can I accomplish this?

vdo ninja is not really intended as a virtual cam feed by itself. To accomplish what your client wants, use OBS or another production tool and use vdo.ninja to create a scene. Then use the virtual camera of that tool for your virtual camera.
