Embed Social Stream Chat into a Website

I'm trying to create a wordpress website for my brand, and I'd love to embed my restream video player and the social stream chat next to it. Would that be possible for me to do?

If you intend to have more than 20 to 100 viewers or so, I'd suggest not going that road. Socialstream isn't designed to handle such scale; it's primarily designed for under 20 connections, or more typically, just a few.

You can however host a websocket server of your own and use &server mode to offload all the connections to a server; you'd be able to handle hundreds or maybe even thousands of connections then. Socialstream does support that sort of setup, but since its never been done before, it's not really documented.

Ahhh gotcha. Thanks for the insight! I'm not super knowledgeable about what the things you mentioned, but I'll enjoy tinkering around with it.

I'd ideally want the chat on my website to work in a way that allows users to chat directly into the platform of their choice. I'm not sure if that's even possible; maybe have users create an account on my website, and then connect their YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, etc so they can choose where their message goes?
