i believe it's only showing 'top fans' messages etc the same as if i just had the comments section open

i really need the functionality that lets me see every comments

is there some specific way to open? should i be logged into personal account or page account?

If using the SSN app, you can view what's happening in Facebook by clicking the eye icon, if FB isn't already visible, and make sure the chat pane isn't set to "top fans". If it is, you'll need to toggle it over to live chat or whatever it might be.

IF that's not working still, I'd value a screen shot of the Facebook chat, so I can see how it looks like. It will make it easier for me to fix things. I dont recall seeing a top fans option previously.

Thank you for reporting the issue

it doesn't have any options, but facebook itself will automatically hide lots of comments.especially if there is a fast comment frequency. i find it only shows friends & top fans etc. it works with the browser extension, maybe because it's my personal account, but i was seeing issues with the desktop version, maybe because it's logged into my page account

Hey @steveseguin Quick question: Do you recommend using the standalone version over the chrome plugin? Which one offers better performance and features, or are they essentially the same?

they are 90% the same. They are both essentially browser plugins -- the app is my own browser, with far fewer restrictions on what I can do versus the browser, so it has that going for it.

The main performance advantage with the app is a few sites have websocket support, like tiktok, so it can use fewer resources in those cases. The web version I may try to get that added eventually tho.

The downside of the app is signing in to your apps is a pain.

I use the extension personally, but a lot of people seem to much prefer the app.
