Clear Fake Test Messages

Open jozef3d opened this issue 1 year ago • 6 comments

Can there be a way to clear ALL Fake Test Messages, instead of deleting them one by one in the pop-up? I don't want them to show up when I begin my stream.

I'm using twitch as my source, if that helps any.

I suppose refreshing the dock page isn't an option? If you don't have &reload in the URL, refreshing will clear all old messages

Do I add &reload to my twitch dock to clear it? And then remove it? What does &reload do?

Sorry, if you are using &reload, then I think it saves the messages, and re-loads them on load.

But normally, if you don't use &reload, you can just reload the browser source to clear messages. If using OBS, open the browser source settings, and select 'Refresh Cache of current page' at the bottom. When it reloads, the old messages are gone.

If you really need a way to clear only test messages, and nothing else, or you just want to clear all messages, maybe I can add something in tomorrow.

Ah got it. I will give that a go. Having an easily accessible button to rid of the test messages would be terrific since it’ll make it easier to do so without having to open settings window of the source.

thank you thank you

Gave this a go. I checked and it doesn't appear like I have &reload in my paths. I did try the "Refresh Cache", however, I would have to go through each unique source in multiple scenes to flush them out, or close/re-open OBS.

I think it might be beneficial if there was a button on the chat doc which allows me to clear all fake messages.

Thank you. I'll look into it.
