Delete all doesn't let me load a new MIDI

I have to open the browser console and manually clear local storage to be able to load a new MIDI

I just tested this and it worked - could you give more details to help me replicate it?

I did:

(latest firefox, ubuntu 20)

  • Load musetree
  • Cancel auto load
  • Request more on root
  • Delete all
  • Add midi -> example: mozart
  • Midi was added ok

I'm on firefox 88.0 64-bit, windows 10 and I'm uploading FFVII MIDIs from my computer instead of using the example MIDIs. It isn't a problem for me either when there wasn't previously a giant tree. It's only happened after I've been playing your sick app for like 45 minutes. Not trivial to reproduce but also not a big deal, so feel free to close this one if no one else experiences this.

While I'm here, it's probably unrelated but sometimes the upload percentage is greater than 100%.

When you say it doesn't let you load the midi - what is the exact behaviour?

The 100% issue is a known bug related to when you cancel something loading.

The context menu just disappears. I can open it again, but it will keep on just closing when I try to add midi

Any console errors or anything?

Something about a promise being rejected. Next time I encounter this bug I'll be able to provide more detail
