after v4.2.14 links not opening on mobile Chrome

after v4.2.14 links working fine on firefox 59 (both desktop and mobile )but on Chrome stop working for mobile

This also affects device mode in Chrome developer tools. Thus an Android device is not required to reproduce the issue.
