Primary Job Function:

This role is critical to progressively expanding system uptime, reliability, availability, and performance consistency.  The primary function of this role is to keep the system reliable and stable without intervention required by the CTO, while ensuring hardware and software is properly prepared for scalability. It requires:

• Installing, configuring and maintain servers and networks
  
  
• Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting issues
  
  
• Creating backups and safeguarding the data if there are any hindrances
  
  
• Performing system upgrades following new releases
  
  
• Sustaining network integrity, server deployment, and security
  
  
• Monitoring and maintaining network servers such as file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems
  
  

• Ensuring high-level security and efficiency
  
  
• Creating system-level documentation
  
  

• Fully migrating to AWS for all systems within the first 60 days of employment
  
  

Primary Requirements:

• AWS Certified SysOps Administrator
  
  
• Proficient in LAMP stacks
  
  
• Database administration
  
  
• Excellent communication skills
  
  
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  
  
• Passionate about sharing of knowledge
