OneMore 3.7.1?! Try the latest version. If it is the hashtag feature, it does try to schedule a scan for hashtags at midnight the first time to offset the system...
Once it completes its initial scan of your notebooks, it wakes up, by default, every 2 minutes to see if any pages have changed. You have 6754 pages across 9...
An "Insert Tag" dialog box is certainly possible for the next release. Note that the Find Hashtags dialog already includes a popup with known hashtags as shown here
