@ojopaul Yes, please. The problem comes with creating new tags. If you give a user "manage_categories", then they can add new tags.

Sorry, adding more details ... I attempted to create a taxonomy called "Private". However, the effort failed. TaxoPress won't show it in "Taxonomy" but thinks that it exists:

@olatechpro This is related to https://github.com/TaxoPress/TaxoPress/issues/432 We are offering the private settings under "Advanced" but if they uncheck the box, that taxonomy disappears. That's not a good experience
