Alignment extension failing

VSCode version: 1.27.0-insider (latest version as of 8/14/2018) Align version: 0.2.0

Whenever I attempt to run the "Align" command I consistently get this error: "Running the contributed command:'extension.align' failed."

I am unable to use the extension as a result.
