Question: Permanent Internet connection

Hi, a simple question, this plugin needs that the WiFi Controller need permanent internet connection? in other words, need to connect to any internet server / cloud application to work? (like some Xiaomi devices)

I don’t think you need any cloud account.

Download the app and setup to connect to you home WiFi. In the magichome app have the option to make account but you don’t need for homebridge. If you have Alexa ou Google home you will need account in magichome app.

My question its not about cloud accounts, i need to known if the plugin works if the controller device has no internet connection (connected to an internet isolated/forbidden network). If you do that with a Xiaomi token based device or Tuya devices the respective plugins stops work, when you restored internet access to the devices it´s all ok, but i don´t like grant internet access to my IoT devices

This will work even without internet just need to be in the same WiFi connection. You no need any outside service for this to work. Homebridge will control direct to the device.
