Previous Year selection

i am not able to select preveios year , e.g.:-if i select 1978 then in output it's showing 2020 (current year), however month and day are correct but getting wrong year as output, even more if i set scrollable then i am not able to select current month , it's skipping month e.g. my current month is august and if i select 2014 then month changed to sptempber and if i trying to go back for august then not's showing that moth sptember to july , (forward) july to sptember. i am not able to select perfect past date. @rolfb @brentvatne @joshuapinter @ararog @Andersos can anyone please help me, i setup lost of things in calander and my project will be live in few days.

did you have to manually scroll to 1978 to select a date from there? I imagine there should be a way to do that
