Use termmeta to save the event category color

Hi Stephen,

I see in the inline doc that event category colors will eventually use termmeta instead of the options table. Termmeta has existed since WP 4.4.

Have you had an opportunity to work on that? If not, when do you think it will be on the roadmap?

The reason I ask is I would like to auto-generate colors for event categories that I would create on-demand and the options table would not be a great storage medium for this.

Hi @r-a-y ,

I'll get this in the 3.0.0 version. I don't have an ETA for that version, however. In 3.0.0 I'll be bumping the minimum requirements for PHP and WP.
