Event update with quick edit removes its venue

When using quick edit to update an event from the events admin page, its venue is automatically reset to "no venue" unless you select the correct venue again manually from the dropdown.

I couldn't replicate this. But in order to display a dropdown for the venue taxonomy the plug-in has to use jquery to insert the field. If there's a javascript error on the page, it could prevent that from happening, which would ultimately lead to what you describe.

Does your browser console indicate an error on the page?

The console shows no errors. I have set up a brand new WP installation today with event organiser as the only active plugin. It still happens: Every time I quick-edit an event, the venue is removed unless I choose it again from the dropdown.

What is selected on the dropdown when you quick edit?

Sorry for the late answer. Before I quick-edit, the chosen venue is displayed. As soon as I click on "quick-edit", the venue is set to "no venue" and saved as such, if I don't choose one from the dropdown.
