Feature request: Got stucked when activating new wifi AP interface

As Pi3B+'s onboard wifi is only for short range communication. So I have added a new usb wifi card.

I got stucked when activating new wifi AP interface.

  1. switched to new wifi card in Network Configuration
  2. save configuration
  3. then everything is just as it is

I check ssh console, and noticed that the ap is configured on the original on board wifi card. When reboot the board, then my new wifi card is activated.

So is it possible to Choice A: popup a message to let user to reboot the rpanion Choice B: reboot it self automatically Choice C: restart those AP related process
