Sonos must have change something, trying out Sonos 6.3 Beta and airsonos unable to discover it

That's pretty worrying. Can anyone else verify this?

Oops. Sounds like bad news indeed. Can anybody confirm? Here is the link to Sonos' beta program: http://www.sonos.com/beta/screen

I can verify that Airsonos is working properly with 6.3 for me

I had the same issue and it seem to work now. I don't know if Sonos changed something again, but I changed nothing.

I'll add my voice to the "doesn't work for me" camp. I'm also new to Sonos. The Sonos system itself is working fine, including running a desktop controller and playing an iTunes library stored on the same computer as I'm running airsonos on.

Running airsonos yields:

$ airsonos --diagnostics --verbose
AirSonos Diagnostics
node version     v6.4.0
operating sys    darwin (x64)
ip address       192.168.0.9

Searching for Sonos devices on network...

which hangs. The About pane from Sonos Controller for Mac reports:

Sonos Controller for Mac
Version:     6.3
Build:         321130162
Sonos ID:  [**redacted**]

Associated ZP: 192.168.0.24

Version: 6.3 (build 321130071)
Hardware Version: 1.8.3.7-2

WM: 1
OTP:

And the mac itself is running:

$ sw_vers
ProductName:    Mac OS X
ProductVersion: 10.11.6
BuildVersion:   15G31

I don't know enough about Airplay or Sonos to try debugging beyond this.

In case it's useful, I've uploaded the output from npm install -g airsonos airsonos-install-log.txt -- there are some warnings (which don't seem critical, but I couldn't say for sure).

Thanks for any help!

Same issue here as @ronen . Not sure why it hangs. When i do airsonos --diagnostics --verbose it finds my speakers. But it doesnt create the tunnel. It just keep searching forever. Any clues?

Same problem here, my devices are found, but the tunnel isn't started.
